All database operations are performed using SAP functionalities and compatible with SAP^© ECC 6.0 and SAP^© S/4 HANA. To avoid different releases for these different SAP^© variants, differences in database access are combined in a single release. The core layer determines the type of database and inputs/outputs are executed according to the requirements of the different databases.
